"Red Tulip" is a limited edition print from the ongoing Tulip series. They are inspired by England in the springtime. Each piece begins at the tulip’s heart with a 4-colour silkscreen printed base.  Hand-drawn details are then applied to each tulip. Once the drawing step is complete, it undergoes a final transformative step through wet folding, where the petals are shaped to bring a dimensional quality to the work. Every tulip made has a twin-like counterpart.
 
Because no two pieces are identical, there will be variations in this edition of 20. Each has hand-drawn details and is shaped differently. 

The white shadowbox frame is deep enough to sit on a shelf or other flat surface. Each piece is numbered and signed on the front and on the back.

The final display measurements are approximately 22 x 22 x 6.5cm.
